The Danes call these "shower" buns because the dough is made the night before, and you can bake them in the morning while you shower. We'll be making the dough for you! You'll receive a piece of parchment and enough dough to make 9 small buns on Thanksgiving morning. Just store in your refrigerator until you're ready to bake.
When you're ready, use a spoon (we use an ice cream scoop) to make 9 small buns on a parchment lined baking sheet. Let the buns rest here while you preheat the oven to 430℉.
Bake for 18- 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown. The doneness can be checked by tapping the bottom of each bun. If they sound hollow, they're ready to eat.
